Meet Stu Wilson
Stu Wilson is the Project Coordinator and a lead consultant for Library Strategies. Previously, Stu served as the Executive Director of The Friends of the Hennepin County Library in Minneapolis and Vice-President of The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library. He has over 20 years of senior management experience in library, adult literacy, museum, and non-profit organizations. He is the founder of Fitzgerald in Saint Paul, a nonprofit celebrating the legacy of author F. Scott Fitzgerald, and has also served on the boards of the Minnesota Library Foundation, Coffee House Press, and the Minnesota Book Awards.
Stu specializes in strategic planning, board development, fundraising, and marketing and public relations. He has presented at numerous state and national library conferences on fundraising, planning, programming and public relations, and has been published nationally on strategic planning and fundraising for libraries. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and honors from the American Library Association.
